Tommy Fury praised his fiancée Molly Mae Hague for being 'a good support system' and 'holding down the fort' while he prepares for his next fight against KSI.
The boxer, 24, is gearing up for a bout against the currently undefeated YouTuber at Manchester’s AO Arena on October 14.
It will be his second consecutive fight against a YouTube content creator turned boxer, having previously fought, and defeated, the self-styled 'problem child' Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia on February 26.
Speaking to Capital’s Jimmy Hill at the KSI vs Tommy Fury and Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis press conference on Friday, Tommy said Molly-Mae was 'a star.'
When asked if he struggles with his work / life balance, he explained: 'Not when you’ve got a good missus.
'Anybody else, you’re engaged to them and they're like “oh you're running away for 10, 12 weeks or whatever. You're not going to do that, you've got to stay at home with me and the baby"...and this and that.
'But Molly’s honestly a star, obviously got my lovely, beautiful Bambi at home, and she’s doing everything a mother you know should do when the male is away, and she’s holding down the fort for me.
'And it’s amazing, she lets me train clear mind, she’s always there, she’s a good support system. Yeah she’s amazing.'
Tommy has promised to knock out KSI in front of a home crowd after verbally sparring the YouTuber for some time, with both camps blaming the other for the negotiations dragging on.
The weight and number of rounds for the bout was not announced when the fight was confirmed in July, but Fury, posting about the fight on social media, was in confident mood.
'October 14TH….You’re getting knocked out in front of my home crowd. This is gonna be fun. @ksi #KsiFury,' the 24-year-old wrote on Instagram.
It will be the first time Fury has boxed since he beat Jake Paul in February.
Londoner KSI shot to fame as a YouTuber before donning the gloves for the first time in 2019 to face Jake's older brother Logan Paul, with whom he has since become business partners.
Fury, the half-brother of unbeaten heavyweight world champion Tyson, has won all nine of his fights.
It comes after Molly Mae and her fiancé Tommy butted heads over how they will bring up their daughter Bambi during a rare insight on At Home With The Furys.
The Love Island star, 24, who was pregnant with their little girl at the time of filming, revealed she and Tommy have clashed over their daughter's future schooling.
Tommy, who was brought up in a traditional Traveller fashion, explained that girls often do not go to school or leave education at a young age.
Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller children often leave after primary school to learn 'traditional' skills. These skills include bricklaying and tree-cutting for young boys, while girls will be taught homemaking by their mothers.
It proved to be a sticking point for the couple, as Molly Mae insisted there was 'no way' her daughter, now six months, would not receive a full education.
Molly-Mae told cameras during a confessional that Tommy had broached the subject of their child not going to school, in keeping with the traditional Traveller way.
At Home With The Furys largely follows World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Tyson Fury's life with his wife Paris and their six children, Venezuela, 13, Prince John James, 11, Prince Tyson II (Tutty), seven, Valencia, five, Prince Adonis, four, Athena, two.
However Molly Mae and Tommy make several appearances throughout the series, including early on where they reveal to Paris and Tyson that they are expecting a baby.
During the first episode, Molly Mae references being a different race to Tommy, telling cameras: 'In the Fury family, I am the only non-Traveller wife at the minute, so to speak.'
The couple later went on to discuss their different upbringings during a cameo appearance filmed at their home in Cheshire.
Molly said that their then-unborn child would only have 'one quarter' Traveller blood.
Tommy explained to the camera: 'Growing up the way I've grown up, I've got my morals and live my life a certain way.
'I feel like when our little girl comes along, she'll most definitely be brought up the way I've been brought up. The old fashioned way. The right way.'
He was seen telling Molly: 'I want our daughter to be around other children and be very family orientated. I feel like family is number one and it's important that she knows that.'
Molly then revealed to the camera: 'With Tommy obviously being Traveller, he has had conversations with me about our child not going to school to school, which is absolutely non optional.
'I've been raised completely differently to that. It would never be a question that our children or our child would not go to school. That hopefully won't cause too many rifts.'
