Back to School Across the College Softball World (Via Twitter)

As usually happens, you blink… and the summer is gone.


You know you’re farther along in the year when you see Halloween decorations and candy on sale at places like Walmart and some stores are even putting out Christmas stuff already. Yikes.


But the biggest sign we’re steamrolling towards the fall season – along with the return of college and pro football!—is the reality that it’s-back-to-school time. Many collegiate programs have posted on their Twitter pages pics/tweets of their softball athletes starting school again or beginning their first season.


On a personal note, my oldest son went back to school today to start his senior year with a weird combo of classes including Welding and DC Government (college credit); it’s crazy to me to think that he’s started his last year of high school.


It’s a momentous time for him and our family and – judging by these fun Tweets across the country – many college softball players and their athletic programs feel the same way about school being back in session…
